Every Friday night (or rather, Saturday morning) from midnight until about 3am, students gather to play.

The Roanoke Times reports the dodgeball club started about five years ago. Many students find the late night playing to be a good alterative to partying.

“I don’t drink. I don’t smoke,” said Harvey Porter, an organizer and college junior. “It’s Friday. It’s 12. I want to have fun.”
