Super Dodgeball Brawlers release in 2008

Aksys Games, the makers of Super Dodgeball, will be releasing the all new Super Dodgeball Brawlers for the Nintendo DS™ next spring.

The old-school Kunio characters will be back packing a whole new whack of super throws and attacks, wreaking havoc on the playground. You can even have up to eight players at a time.

This new version of the game will let you get rough, throwing punches and kicks at will. Another new feature will be creating your own characters.

I just stumbled across this game you can play online by arcades247.com. This is the most dodgeball action I will be getting until my collarbone heals in September.

Cool, I never knew this game existed. Did anyone out there ever play it? It looks very… 0ldsk00l.

This makes me wonder if there are any newer, more modern, versions of a dodgeball game for Playstation or whatever. Maybe I’ll pitch it tp Wii if they don’t have one already. From what I hear about Wii, that would be pretty cool!
