I stumbed across this funny piece in a local Montana newspaper, about the staff’s plight in maintaining a dodgeball team to continuously get hammered in weekly games.

Here is a funny excerpt:

“The bitterness has infected our office, as staffers who fail to show up and subject themselves to this weekly embarrassment like the rest of us are interrogated the next morning as to their whereabouts. Such excuses as a sick pet or a sleeping child are obviously transparent. And even if the excuses were true, they’re not good enough. A commitment to the Beacon Blitz transcends the obligations of family.”

Definitely worth a read. Actually, check out the whole site www.FlatheadBeacon.com. There’s some interesting stuff. I found a story about a homophobic prank gone wrong between two Republican buddies and an ad for a public service announcement about how if you do meth you’ll end up losing your virginity in a dirty bathroom in Montana, presumably.

Don’t do meth, kids. Drugs are bad.
